We offer dance classes in a variety of styles, including Street, Hip Hop, Commercial, Jazz, and Latin & Ballroom, for ages 3 through to adults. Whether you're taking your very first steps or looking to advance your training, we have a progression pathway to suit every dancer.

Our students have the opportunity to take part in dance exams, showcase performances, and other exciting opportunities to build confidence and experience.

Jessie Bates

Claire Bates

Director/ Head Coach / Choreographer

With over 15 years of experience across Freestyle, Latin, and Ballroom, Jessie has developed a strong understanding of both teaching and running successful dance classes. She brings energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to every lesson, creating an environment where dancers can learn, grow, and enjoy themselves.

Jessie's particular strength lies in choreography and performance. She has extensive experience creating routines for showcases and performances, including productions performed on stages such as The Grove Theatre. Her passion for creating memorable performances allows her to bring creativity and individuality into everything she does.

Holding a Pre-Associate in Latin and an Associate in Freestyle, Jessie combines her technical knowledge with a relaxed and approachable teaching style. She believes that dance should be both professional and enjoyable, giving every dancer the opportunity to develop their abilities while having fun along the way.

Jessie is especially proud of the RB8 Dance Studio family she is building and values the relationships she has formed with her dancers and their families. Her goal is to continue creating a positive, encouraging space where dancers can discover their confidence, develop their skills, and work towards achieving their own dance dreams.

Assistant coach

With over 40 years of experience in the dance industry, Claire brings a wealth of knowledge in competitive dance, show performances, and dance examinations.

As an Associate in Latin and a Full Member of the IDTA (International Dance Teachers' Association), Claire specialises in teaching younger dancers, helping them build confidence while developing strong technical foundations in a fun, welcoming, and supportive environment.

Passionate about making dance accessible to everyone, Claire creates engaging classes where every student feels encouraged, valued, and inspired to achieve their full potential.
